I finally feel like things are getting back to normal after the whirlwind of our oldest son’s marriage! Aside from all the preparations here for a houseful of guests, there are no less than a million little details in getting ready for even the simplest of weddings. It was a simple and short event, which made it all the more enjoyable. God’s grace was abundant at every stage, and gratefully so!
I now have a new daughter, and she fits in our family perfectly …. another entrepreneur! She wants to have her own photography studio some day, and I believe she will succeed abundantly. Now with the wedding behind her, she has time to begin to plan the steps necessary to do the work she loves. She had a professional photographer do her wedding, and I know she was watching the woman she hired with that entrepreneurial mindset of hers. She told me that when she interviewed this photographer she asked her how she got started and what training she had AND what training she would have had in retrospect. We will be highlighting the steps to becoming a freelance photographer in another blog.
In short, it was all alot of work, and alot of fun, but it’s always great to get back to work, especially when it’s what you love! Do what you love, love what you do…for the Lord gives us the desires of our heart. Till tomorrow…..
